Terms and Conditions of Acceptance

1. General Acceptance

All dry-cleaning, dyeing, and laundering work is accepted strictly subject to the following terms and conditions.

2. Inherent Defects & Fabric Behavior

• No compensation shall be paid for articles having inherent defects
• The firm is not responsible for loss of colour, shrinkage, or damage due to:
  • Defective manufacture
  • Poor quality of material
  • Normal wear and tear

3. Examination of Articles

• Articles are not examined minutely at the showroom
• Detailed inspection is done at the workshop
• The workshop report regarding article condition shall be final and binding on the customer

4. Liability for Loss or Damage

• If goods are lost, misplaced, interchanged, or damaged during processing:
  • Compensation is limited to ten times the cleaning charge if the article is left with the firm
  • Compensation is limited to five times the cleaning charge if the article is delivered to the customer

5. Delivery Schedule

• The firm is not bound to adhere strictly to delivery dates due to:
  • Bad weather
  • Power load-shedding
  • Labour shortage
  • Machinery breakdown
• The firm will make its best effort to avoid inconvenience to customers

6. Stain Removal

• Removal of all stains cannot be guaranteed
• Best possible efforts will be made to deliver optimal results

7. Unclaimed Articles

• If articles are not collected and payment is not made within three months of the scheduled delivery date:
  • The firm may dispose of the articles through auction or negotiation
  • The customer shall have no right to challenge this action

8. Payment & Billing

• All bills are payable at the office of the firm
• This document is a bill only, not a receipt

9. Jurisdiction

• All disputes are subject to Bhubaneswar jurisdiction only
